I got flashed by a speed camera this morning but it had a big sign under it saying camera under test....does anyone know if this a live camera and should i expect a letter through the door or is this camera simply being tested before it actually goes live?
Sounds like you could argue and say there was absolutely no way you were going to fast and they should look at their calibration again...heehee

Im not 100% sure but I always thought it had to flash twice so 2 photos to get a speed between 2 points anyway...
get a picture of the camera and the sign just in case, but i suspect if you are correct you should be ok.

I should stop worrying, I was under the impression that they had a time limit to inform notice of intended prosecution, all though I am no expert on Road Traffic Law.
14 days i think
It is 14 days to issue the NIP to the address of the registered keeper so unless you've not registered yourself on the V5 or have just moved, that can be extended until they track you down. All things being in order - an month later means it ain't coming now!
