MK1 escort suspension kit wanted ?????

I am looking for advice for suspension upgrade for a 1300GT Mk1 escort
I have 2 escort MK1's and while I've been recently looking for 2.8i struts for the historic race car. These questions are for a different MK1. Its a daily driver MK1 1300GT. It will be getting some power and gearbox upgrades (170 BHP engine & 2000E gearbox) . Prior to this, I want to get the suspension/brakes sorted out. I mainly want this car for road use, however some mild completion may be in its future. Brakes are NOT my issue at this point. However, I'm hoping there is an optimum suspension kit is available.
Stance: I also would like to drop the suspension and add a little negative camber to the front. I have a set of 6 in Minilites fitted.
I understand I need a twin cam anti roll bar and some adjustable TCA's, but the parts I'm asking about here are suggestions for
    • Shocks Rear
    • Springs rear ?
    • De-camber rear springs or lowering blocks.
    • Struts front
    • Springs front
    • Top mounts front
    • Wheel spaces?
    • Poly Suspension kit
    • Anything else
I appreciate and advice or input, I'm in the US so one stop shopping helps me with shipping, and a pre-engineered set of components take away the guesswork.

    Thanks
    James

Re: MK1 escort suspension kit wanted ?????

Keeping with tried and tested kit:
    •Shocks Rear - Bilstein
•Springs rear - this is personal preference, std/cd6/cd9, depends how stiff you want or need the rear...
•De-camber rear springs or lowering blocks. - de-cambered is better
•Struts front - 2.8i capri or gp1/gp4 would be better. RS2000 or any other capri struts are still a good upgrade (RS and std capri are normally the same basic unit)
•Springs front - depends on engine type (x-flow/pinto etc) 145lb or 160lb if using a x-flow for road use is often put forward although others swear by 'much' stiffer setups
•Top mounts front - original RBTM's to reduce steering effort
•Wheel spaces - only if needed, depends on rims fitted
•Poly Suspension kit - always a good upgrade to firm the probably tired rubber kit
•Anything else - tramp bar kit and panard rod (optional) helps keep the axle better located if not already fitted.

I am sure some of this site sponsors will likely be able to supply all the parts you need and at a good price.
