Hello all
perhaps you can help me here.
Looking ahead at my project I can see that the exhausts from the turbo's are going to cause me some headache among many others and I would like your opinion as to what i available or what route you may take.
the problem is that the cast elbows that bolt directly onto the turbines are pointing in directions I would like to change as I route the exhaust. I had hoped of fabricating elbows which effectively point up on the drivers side and loop up and over to the other elbow for a single pipe exit. This would help me as the steering rack also locates near the drivers side turbo.
I was curious to know if anyone had made such elbows to do similar purpose as I know you can buy prefabricated bent pipe sections.
I also have one concern about how robust this option might be as these elbows are very heavy gauge and see great temperatures, so would a fab job suffice?
if you have other ideas please let me know so I can consider all options.
ps the frame you see below is the beginnings of my space frame chassis for the front.
