Mk2 granada 2.8i ghia won't run after welding

    Afternoon ,

ive got a mk2 28i that I'm in process of putting back on the road. Today disconnected the battery to carry out some welding not it won't start. It initially fires up on the key but won't stay running. I was thinking fuel pump relay or pump but ran a live feed to the pump directly and o can hear the pump pressure up - tried starting holding the live on the pump but still won't run 🙈

Any ideas ???? It's pouring with rain now so given up for the day

    cheers

Double check you have connected all the wires to the battery.

And when it stops...does it have fuel ? dos it have spark ?

Do some testing to try and find what it is losing that is causing it to stop.

Where was the welding done ? near any wiring or ignition type components etc ?

Was it running properly directly prior to this work ?
