Drums on a semi floating Baby Atlas

Does anyone have any photos or information about fitting drum brakes on to a semi floating Atlas Axel. Want to convert it back from disc set up.

What do you mean by semi floating, like the Quaife bolt on hub with separate halfshaft or Fords early GP4 ones of similar design.

If the Quaife hubs and the spigot are machined to the same dimensions as the std flange on a std Atlas shaft then you should be okay to fit the drums. The back plate should bolt on as normal. You may even be lucky and manage to leave the caliper brackets on the axle, it all depends on where the brks are fixed.I am sure someone must use that set up for Historic Rally Regs.

If the quaife atlas ones are the same as English one, not meaning literally. There is a difference of app 10mm over std ones so backplate may need packing to bring the shoes back into line.
