Xflow only starts when you let go of the key

I have read about this happening before But cant find the post now.

I have just rebuilt my xflow and it turns over lovely and fast and starts quite well but only if you crank it for a while and then let go of the key

Nothing has changed spec wise so im a bit stumped

That is probably the cause. (no +12V supply to ignition when starting)

Just tried it now with the battery fully charged and it started on the key fine
So only when the battery is slightly down
