    Coil Packs

For those running a pinto on management with a coil pack, where have you mounted it?

I have a fuel pressure regulator and breather tank on the inner wing passenger side so no room there and there is not much room under the inlet plenum and don't want it up on top of the bulk head near the heater bubble.

That's where the rallycar had it, threw away the bracket for it couple of weeks ago.

I can't put it there as the inlet plenum sits quite low and it would be touching, I did see on one of the kit car forums that someone had done that. Think I m going to go for the bulk head but further down towards the chassis rail and then make a slash guard for it as no doubt it'll pick up a load of road dirt.

Is your car for race or street?

I have mine (ls1 coils) mounted up next to plenum passenger side, but the other option was under plenum as mine is bolt on. I have also seen them mounted inside the cab and routed through the plenum drain hole for a neat look. That was on a cossie engine.

    It's a street car.

Inside and through the drain hole is not a bad idea, might have to look into that one.

Found the bracket in the bin! Can take a photo if you want.
Wouldn't mount the coil on the engine, too much vibration.
