Ford Consul Estate conversion Zetec powered! £3,500 ovno

Right guy's, here is a Farnham estate, 1800cc zetec powered, starts runs, & drives!
fitted with the correct water rail and thermostat housing, electric fan, twin choke weber and inlet manifold, 4 branch manifold, all works, fan kicks in when it should, the only problem with the engine is that it does smoke a tad, but it had been standing for some time before it was decided to drop it in. it may need a good thrash? But all the hard work has been done. also has the mk1 Mondeo brain. New alternator fitted also.

The interior.... rear original bench seat, this does fold down, and the front seats are the mondeo Mk3 Titanium model. electronic, they go forwards backwards, up & down perfectly.

Rear end..... original axle, no whines, original wheels (yep, a proper sleeper!) this does come with New brake shoes and adjuster plus a new old stock drag link bar.

Type 9 gearbox, most of the crossmember has been done, it is solid, it's not going anywhere, but there are a couple of open corners/ends that will need finishing, but this is nowhere near a massive job! The underside is good, welding has been done in the past, but no huge holes or little homes where mice and such things live! You will need to adapt the speedo cable.


Lights all work, but the windscreen wipers need an electronic motor of sorts fitted as the original one works off the vacuum and this will not work with the present engine!

Vehicle can be delivered if need be, logbook is present, a rare vehicle indeed, very cool, and something that will keep up with today's traffic and still turn heads.

could benefit from a respray... (or not?) genuine interest welcome, space is needed, too many projects on the go, vehicle is in the Black Notley area in Essex.
