Long Way Down on BBC, any ideas where to download?

Does anyone else like this series?

I got the Long Way Round DVD as a Birthday pressie a few years back, and really enjoyed it.

Then I discovered they are showing the next trip "Long Way Down" on BBC, unfortunately it will probably be about 2-3 years before it gets shown on crappy Aussie TV

So I thought I would download it, got the first episode no problem from the newsgroups, but since then I haven't been able to find the next one.
That's even worse than not seeing it, just getting the first episode and not seeing the rest

Has anyone got any ideas where I can grab it from?
    Regards
    Mark

    Marsy,
    see here http://www.bbc.co.uk/longwaydown/
2 blokes on bikes taking an epic road trip

The first trip (Long Way Round) was really good, so I am hoping this one will be too

    Mark,
I will give that player a try, I have also got a torrent downloading now that may be OK, I have never used torrents before I normally leexch from usenet (Nzb files) so hopefully this will work out

I've downloaded it from iplayer, its 580mb, so if I can find somewhere to host it, you can have that Mark

When I watched the first trip I thought it was excellent, watched the whole series over 2 nights as I couldn't turn it off.
At first I thought it was gonna be a coupe of actor luvvies making tits of themselves, but they stuck it out and struggled through some real difficulties, rivetting stuff.

I have always fancied doing an epic trip like that, I keep thinking of getting on a bike and going across Oz
Although I can't find anyone here with enough balls (or as little sense) to do it with me

Re: Long Way Down on BBC, any ideas where to download?

To be completely honest, the first series was good because it was exciting, but by the end of it both Ewan and Charlie started to irritate me because they are such a pair of over dramatic wet lettuces...The second series is even worse and all the things that irritated me in the first series are even more irritating now.

They have support crews, medics, fixers in each countries...etc etc. It is so dramatic and fake.

It isn't about 2 friends on bikes any more, it is about getting the DVD and book sold for christmas.

Don't get me wrong, I am all up for exciting TV and love a good road trip but it just seems to planned and easy for them.

Re: Long Way Down on BBC, any ideas where to download?

I managed to get it using Bit Torrent, it/s the first time I used this, and it took nearly 24 hours, and has uploaded over 3gb in order to get 700mb down

Is that normal for bit torrent stuff?
I have up/download monthly limits here so can't see this method as being very useful to me in future

Re: Long Way Down on BBC, any ideas where to download?

I did try changing the upload speed, but it seemed to slow the download even more

Will see how it goes next time I try one.

It has now been uploaded to the newsgroups too, so if I had waited I could have got it in about 30 minutes with no upload bandwidth used

I watched the first series and Kel has it on dvd. Thought it was great and I think we sat and watched the whole lot back to back one rainy Sunday.

Been following the new ones and its just as good although there have only been a couple of episodes shown I would suggest a Torrent download as thats how we get all our US based programmes before they are shown here

Re: Long Way Down on BBC, any ideas where to download?

I usually use www.newzleech.com from there you can download a NZB file and use a news grabber (GrabIt is what I use) to download.
You will need Newsgroup access through your ISP but most still have this
I normally download movies and programs at around 320-380KB/s
    So it's really quick
Only downside is you can't always find what you want, but I have got most stuff I was looking for so far

I use Azureus too and its a programme as apposed to a site. Therefore if you type torrent and what you want into google you can use it to download from all sorts of places.

You can try to find it on KAT where has kinds of files. And there are some good KAT alternatives like TPB and RarBG that have massive data.
