axle help

gents need some info.i have a south African import mk2 escort with a south s african axle, ive been offered a mk1 mk2 rs 2000 rear axle casing shafts ,drums but no diff. how do i identify it and will It fit if its a mk1 .is there any difference .

MK1 RS had 8" drums, Mk2 RS had 9" so that'll identify whats what .........if they haven't been swopped! Pretty much all English axles / internals will swop around
