Regretable sale of my 1700cc Kent Crossflow. Some of you have seen it go and for those who havn’t I have included some videos for you. Selling due to a new engine install so need the funds to go towards that. The spec is:
83.5mm Accralite pistons modified to “Harris Spec” to give true 1700cc capacity
Polished, lightened and balanced rods and crankshaft (see pics)

MASS exhaust manifold (this is original and is much better than the later copies)

Bosch distributor fitted with Lumenition trigger eye
8mm Magnecore HT leads
Modified timing chain cover to allow easy cam timing alterations
I have a rolling road sheet from Sanspeed to prove 169bhp at 7200rpm and timing slips from Santa Pod to prove 12.7 in my Mk2 escort. This engine has done less than 1000miles since I built it not even 6months ago and it has cost me 1000’s of pounds to build it to top specification. Hours of labour have gone into the build to get everything spot on. Absolutley every part possible was changed for a new item which includes giving the crankshaft a fresh 10/10 grind and changing the small end bushes and camshaft bearings which is often overlooked. I will remove the sump and head for the buyer so they can inspect it for wear and for proof they are getting the real deal and will refit everything for them with new gaskets.
I am after:
£3300 o.n.o Complete with Brand New 45’s and the Mass Exhaust manifold plus a stainless system to fit Escort (if required)
OR
£2800 o.n.o Without the above but still including the inlet manifold
