    Will a 105e diff fit a mk2

Thinking of buying and English diff off a local guy says it's out of a 105e

Will it fit straight into my mk2 just to try it

How many teeth does a 4.1 have on Crown wheel and the pinion just so I can check it

8 and 33 for a 4.1 m8. will fit but the anglia had a smaller diff flange, so you might have to change that

The easiest way is to count the teeth and then divide the smaller number into the larger one and you'll have your ratio. From memory Anglia vans were fitted with a 4.44 ratio as were some 1200 Supers.

You'll have to count them. It's 35 yrs since I have seen a 4.4 English diff and my memory has faded so it would be a guess at 9/40.
