Alignment recommendations - fast road Escort

Car is getting to the point of needing to drive on proper roads now, not just up and down the street and in and out of the garage!

    Front spec is:
    - Adjustable gaz coilovers and inserts
    - 250lb springs
    - In-situ adjustable tca's
    - twin-cam style arb and double width brackets
    - eccentric adjustable top mounts
    - +10mm wide alloy hubs
    - 215/45x15 tyres

    Rear is:
    - decambered, single leaf springs
    - gaz adjustable shocks
    - 2" lowering blocks
    - anti-tramp bars
    - panhard rod
    - 225/50x15 tyres

Last time we did any alignment I didn't have any adjustment in the suspension - so the only thing we had to set was the tracking to standard figures. I've no idea what to set camber to, or if/how caster can be affected to any meaningful degree by the eccentric top mounts.

Car is definitely not a track toy any longer, it's something that needs to work on normal roads; it's not going to do mega miles though, so it can probably be set to something a little more aggressive than a daily driver.

Anyone got a set of figures to aim for as a good starting point?

id put as much caster in as i could get, with 1-1.5 degress neg camber and toe it in 2mm. as you have power steering lots of caster will give all the benefits of a lot of neg camber without the drawbacks

As above but not that much toe in, id set track at 0 or very slightly toe'd out for a nicer turn in, especially on 15 inch wheels, they dull the turn in a bit. I ended up going back to 13's after my (costly) 15inch wheels experience.

May i ask, why was it costly?

Sorry if this is slightly off topic.

Because i spent alot of money buying new grp4 15inch wheels, trying different competition tyres only to work out that escorts dont handle well on 15 inch wheels, its very difficult to get the geometry correct for them, so then i went back to 13's . All in all - a £2000 mistake.
