Hi all,
I have rebuilt my front calipers, how ever I have got problems getting enough fluid through the front bleed valves. I have never bled the brakes on a servo'd car but I assume it is the same setup that you work you way back to the nearest caliper to the servo. Haynes didn't actually say anything specific for a servo mk2 escort.
I have recently rebuilt M16 calipers on the front and standard 1.1 drums on the rear, how ever one thing I have never seen before is that the rear brakes lines go from one drum to the other drum, rather having a t piece or bias adjuster.
So am I right in thinking to bleed both the tears you have to do it through the bleed nipple on the near side rear?
also one more thing, I have searched on here and read that I have to adjust the rear brakes to get more pressure coming out the front, is this correct? I have good pressure at the rear for fluid coming out and hardly anything at the front. Which in my mind makes sense.
thanks
kris
