Wanted - type 5 4 speed Cologne v6 bellhousing

Trying to get hold of a bellhousing for a 4 speed, type 5 gearbox to 2.8 Cologne V6. Would be interested on full gearbox if you don't want to just sell the bellhousing

I am 98% sure I have a Cologne V6 to 4 speed type 5 bell housing loose.

I will check in the morning and let you know if it is or not.

Sorry, wrong bell housing, I have 2 Essex V6 to Type 5 four speed, 1 Cologne V6 to Type 9 five speed, and 2 Essex V6 to Type 9 Five speed, but not the Cologne V6 to Type 5 four speed, I am sure they do turn up from Capri 2.8 early four speeds or if someone has gone from four speed to five speed in there 2.8 Capri.

I might be able to help, when we bangerraced mk2 granadas we used to put the 4 speed box out of a mk1 in for some tracks. Im pretty sure you need the bellhousing we used to do this. Leave it with me

Sorry to have got you all worked up mate, I have had them in the past, and I thought I still had some, but I must have already let the last one go, any Capri 2.8 4 speed or Granada MK2 2.8 4 speed will be the one, pretty sure the MK1 Granada never had a Cologne engine in them, they where Essex v4 & V6 or Pinto, I will ask around for you bud, and if I locate one I will send you the details and you can take over from there, I don't suppose there are millions of them around, but I also don't think they are as rare as hen's teeth, just being in the right place at the right time.
