Erik, I'm just looking into this for my MK1 as I'm running a sequential box with no take off.
Click HERE for the one I'm looking at but you can fully customise it.
I've even contacted them and they said they can attempt to do one with the same graphics as used on my MK1 Escort dials.
I'll let you know how I get on
    Cheers

Hi Dazzle, you will have to let me know how you get on with that order. I have the same issue and will be looking fo one for my mk1 as I still want to retain my original 6 clock dash

    Hi Guys
Hopefully you will see this but I've ordered my gauges and I got my first artwork proofs
To say I'm happy with them is an understatement
I have asked for a few small adjustments but nothing major.
Let me know what you think

Im quite anal, so are you going for the identical twin cam copy... If so the redline is from 6 an a half to 8... Rather than from 7..

would love a set of those. They look great. How does the tach work with ecu's etc ? I had to get my original tach modified to work with Megasquirt.

Can't imagine hooking one of these 'modern electronic' tacho's will have problems taking a modern ecu tach signal - original 60's / 70's tacho's need a 'soft / wooly' pulse, not the precise modern output. I think with the reproduction faces they'll look the nuts!

    0-60 timed run

Motorsport developments wasted spark mod did not like the old rs2000 rev counter but works fine with the speedhut version. Just in case anyone had a misfire for no reason on the old RS gauges

I'm not looking for exact copy, just wanted it to make sense for my car and look like it belongs. My soft cut is 7250 so 7000 to 8000 works out great for a visual.
I know the twin cam is that way but if you look, the twin cam speedometer is totally different as well

    They're certainly very nice anyway.
I see what you mean about the speedo too, the original ones never had km/h on them at all, not Uk ones anyway.

That's a picture of my clocks/gauges at the moment.
I wanted to try and stay as close to that look as possible but the options for speedo were 120 or 140mph, so went higher, nothing to do with twincam clocks
The rev counter however was because of the twincam version but thought I'd change the redline to suit the car/engine

Ah yes I see what you mean.. The twin cam 140mph speedo never had Km/h on them...
!30mph speedo I always considered to be rRS200 or Mexico clocks. I like that carbon infill, very nice...

hi dazzle when you get them perfected can you show us or maybe get a ref number from speedhut as i will be interested in the speedo, no point in reinventing the wheel etc.

    Thanks

interestingly I have the same clocks in my MK1 as yu so these are rs2000 or mexico ? I have had the tach modded to work on an ecu but would love a redline segment on it. Maybe i need to get tricky with some paint.

    Re: 0-60 timed run

Bit of an update, these were the final proofs which I am very happy with

So, they should be making the gauges for me and hopefully I'll get them soon

On a slight side note, has anyone fitted aftermarket gauges to a MK1 cluster before? And if so, how did you go about doing it?
Just curious as I've had a look and got some ideas but I'm interested in what you guys have to say?

    Many thanks

Sorry bud, haven't been on here for a while so didn't see this!
Yep, got them but haven't fitted them yet. Was waiting till the end of my track season then I'm going to install them over winter.
I will look at doing a bit of a 'how to' just to show what is involved and at least show the way I'll do it.
If I remember this weekend, I'll try to take some pictures of them for you
