    Minty mk2 project

So this is the new project. Its a 1976 mk2 in mint green which is really unusual. It shouldn't take much to get back on the road as I bought it as a rolling shell. I have the majority of the parts I was going to put onto the new shell so I'm hoping it won't take long.

Still going down the Pinto/RX8 gearbox route so i fitted the bigger gearbox tunnel.

And I also fitted the rear tank stand and tank.

Engine also had to be repainted as it was red and wasn't going to look right against the mint green.

I also bought a 4.1 diff and LSD some time ago and this has been fully rebuilt with new bearings.

Next thing to do is to get the engine and box fitted so I can make the rear mount for the gearbox. Roll cage from the other car will go in this and fortunately it has the seat bars already fitted as they can be a pain. Car has an MOT until October so the goal is to get it roadworthy by then.

Took it back out to fit the clutch and flywheel.

Fitted my suspension and quick rack, using my adjustable TCAs

Received my pedal box back from Arrow, awesome piece of engineering

Made a fair bit of progress. Gearbox is in its final resting place after a few modifications, custom prop has arrived, exhaust manifold has been modified so its pointing in the right direction now. Axle has been painted, fitted with new bearings and my 4.1 LSD. Also managed to modify the heater to fit but still needs some work to get most of the air on the screen. Just need to wire and plumb the car so that I can get it fired as I have all the fuel pumps/regulators now.
