So I know I have an original VIN plate.... somewhere.....
The trouble is, I don't know where it is - it's been about 8 or 9 years since I saw it! I know I don't technically need one, but it does look a bit bare without it.
I can source a replacement one, so that's okay, and I can get the VIN from the V5 document, but what are all the other codes and numbers on the plate? Is there any way of decoding them or getting a list of what the common variations are for each model so that I can stamp it up accurately?
