what are you doing for an ecu?
im thinking in omex 600, or here in uruguay we have good ecu's, i really don't know what to do... just want some power and a good engine
to be honest, with a std engine and mild cam you wont really benefit a lot from going injection, in another post you suggested a fr33, that will work with the jenveys, but you are handy capping your self by sticking with a standard engine, more compression and a decent head works and a cam wonders on a pinto
graham, thank you so much for all your help, its mean a lot for me. i want my engine std because its not a 205 block(it was from a cortina mk3) and this engine is very rare, very hard to find parts... maybe i can work the head, i dont want a fast car, just 120hp and good engine performance, i can give it more compression with the gasket and pistons, but i dont want a race car or track car...
None 205 blocks have been tuned for years and are plenty strong
And all parts are interchangeable more or less.

ok unless you are doing something really special early 2.0 or 205 block makes no difference, the early block is even a little lighter.
if all you want is 120bhp then all you need is fit a FR30 cam! assuming you have a half decent exhaust, raise the compression a bit and tickle the head you should see 130bhp on a twinchoke carb
