Have I posted my question in the correct forum section?
In the Saab V4 I drive with, type of early 1970's, there is an LSD diff in the gearbox.
What I understood, heard, should be a type of Ford LSD.
Ford Escort, I think.
It may be Cortina or the like.
Maybe German Ford then the engine in Saab 96/95 has a Ford Tanus 15M / 17M engine
There are 3 different axes for Escort.
Englich, Atlas and Cologne
How do you understand these?
Englich lifts the entire crown wheel + piniong forward.
Atlas with lid back.
Cologne same as Atlas (backward)
Or?
How about the number of screws for the crown wheel?
Does it differ between the different? (German, English, etc.)
See pictures, this is a modified LSD.
But what type?
Can you see that? (6th crown wheel screws)
