Baby Atlas, the half shafts were custom and made to order. Including hub bearings and studs and some postage came to £470 (ex-vat)
Which I think is really reasonable for a bullet proof solution, considering what the not so bullet proof options cost!

Hello dobuy, how is the car going? just a quick question does the duratec carry a striker plate? I don't know what you call it but its the plate that goes between the engine & the gearbox. I've been told by a Uk engine builder I don't need one but it somehow doesn't sound right but I can't find any nowhere on the internet, I even checked the Ford & mazda parts website.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news and I hope this doesn't offend anyone, but I believe Neil (dobuy) sadly passed away last year.

Really sad news he was such a great guy to know. Do very helpful fella.
That's sad to know...
Never met the guy.... But still, Rip Buddy...
What? I knew Neil personally as he invited me down to his house to have a look at Svetlana when I was living in Dubai.
Absolute gent of a man and the car was stunning. Last time I heard, he was importing the car to the UK for auction, as he'd bought a race car.
Guy was a true petrol head.
