    1.6 XFlow Cam Degree/Valve Events

Does anyone have some stock cam specs handy they can share? In particular, I'm looking for intake and exhaust valve opening/closing degree. My numbers seem too radical for a stock cam on an 80's economy car, so I probably did it wrong. I need to know Lobe Separation Angle, Duration, and when the valves start to open and close to order the low-compression pistons. This is finally the last measurements I need!

For reference, I'm measuring at the lifter using a dial gauge with a long extension to reach down the lifter bore. Chain tensioner is fully installed. Used dial gauge to set TDC using a piston stop-type approach. I'll share my numbers when I get home and can check my notes.

    Stock cam specs:
    cam lift inlet: 5.865 mm
    cam lift exhaust: 5.895 mm
valve play (cold): inlet 0.25 mm exhaust 0.55 mm
inlet valve opens 27 BTDC, closes 65 ABDC
exhaust valve opens 65 BBDC, closes 27 ATDC
(all numbers borrowed from the Haynes manual)

this means duration is 272 degrees, LSA is 109 degrees.
