So finally.....new info on that serial stream secrets....There is difference betwen old and new sw for OE P8 cosworth.

if you will use TX13-14 or 14-16 version, it has fiat diagnostic protocol included and you can use simple usb-serial adapter to read ECU data. I am working on Tunerpro lancia.adx rebuild to 100% fit on cosworth P8 SW...because not all values are same....thats just for start

I have a P8 Ecu with 14-16 SW and a KKL 409.1 Adapter. I make a cable to connect the ecu pin 8 to OBD 15, Ecu 27 to OBD 7 and 2 cables for Gnd & Ign.

But i have no connection with Tunerpro and Lancia Adx file.

How are the settings for comms? Baudrate?

Hi Guys I have a Escort P8 with a chip from a unknown tuner. its min 20 yaers or older. (the car goes fine)
i have try to read out the datastream, but its a mistery:
Baudrate 1952-- no answer
Baudrate 7812-- no answer

Baudrate 9600 with pectel code (80h, 81h....) no answer.
Baudrate 9600-- it will answer, on 01h to 40h. i have it tested, but the calculation from the fiat doc is wrong.
Calculation from Pectel its also wrong.

As example:
Battery voltage 13V: send 10h, request 128dec *0.0628 = 8.04V

If i change voltage to 12V, the answer is still 128dec...

is there a 3rd party datastream? anyone know more about?
