Type 3 gearbox 3 bolt type fixing

Does anybody know what or where I can get a type 3 gear selector 4 speed 3 bolt fixing or is it possible to modify a type 9 5 speed or has any other ideas thanks

im pretty sure you can use a type 9 5 speed gear stick...i will check tomorow..think it s a straight fit no mods required...cheers mark

yes works no problem...straight bolt on...type 9 5 speed gear lever,,,on to 4 speed box..

Mark - I think that's quite a rare gearbox with the 3-bolt fixing - I think it was found in the early sierra's and possibly not much else!

Maybe the original poster can confirm whether he is looking to convert the original threaded type gear lever to the three bolt shown with some kind of tower rather than changing the rear casing (if he can find one)?

yes 1600 sierra... he said 3 bolt fixing...so i assumed it was this gearbox...only 4 speed i no with the 3 bolt lever...cheers mark

yes 1600 sierra... he said 3 bolt fixing...so i assumed it was this gearbox...only 4 speed i no with the 3 bolt lever...cheers mark
