    zetec head recommendations

    Hi Guys,

    im looking at giving my zetec a little tickle up over here in aus before dropping it in my mk1? whats the best option?

    Head work or i read something about the 1.8 head upping the compression or something?

    cams ect ect

    any tips or ideas would be great

    its NA on r1 bike carbs if that helps

    head work always is a good thing, head and cams really good, but is getting a lot more costly, yes i believe using a 1.8 on a 2.0 will up the compression

    1.8 head will up the compression but there is valve shrouding around the inlets that restrict flow

    Just use a 2.0 head and a thiner head gasket from a black top zetec or skim the head a bit more
