Cheers, yeah there was only one spectator point and I was just using an iphone (!) but the sound came out ok.

Way too many rally videos on YT have infuriating music overdubbed - no need for that with old escorts!!

Thanks, yeah you can hear some of them for ages after they've vanished up the hill.

It sounded amazing - my then-11-year old was utterly hooked and he now spends ages watching historic rallying on youtube. Could be watching worse things i guess.

I was brought up in Duns in the Scottish Borders and have great memories of the Jim Clark rally as a kid. To me, Escorts/Mantas/Talbots are just what rally cars should sound like!
