    CV joints need changing...

    guys,

    my cv joints on the mk2 propshaft is worn and wanted to get this changed but the clip on the cv joint is a little different than the ones that i normally see , can someone guide me on how to get this changed this myself?

    Any pics of the said circlips? Mk2s don't usually have them, they usually have staked joints.

    i'll try to get some pics of it.actually its flower shaped and is rounded in the middle.i havent really seen this type of clip but i realy dunno how to get it open.how are stock mk2 propshafts supposed to be?

    Any ideas how to get this out? i've never encountered this type of clip b4 and its preventing me from getting the joints changed.

    That looks like a 'staked' joint. Not really DIY. You'll need to send it to a prop specialist.

    Prop specialists are like non-exsistent here where i stay.any other way to get this out.?
