Selling my micro r/c, after a 1/10 nitro or poss decent electric.

Hello. I'm selling my micro r/c and have been recently looking at getting a 1/10 nitro. Saw this for sale this weekend and was after opinions:

    http://www.modelzone.co.uk/nissan_sk...tr-details.htm

If not can anyone suggest a decent electric 1/10?
Also, if anyone was interested, here's my micro r/c stuff for sale:

I used to repair nitro cars for HPI, they were very good for the money.

I'm guessing there 1/10 electric stuff will be aswell

DaveWRC is spot on about the hpi cars

You should really look into getting a 1/10 electric before thinking about a nitro.

The Tamiya TT01 is bombproof and has numerous upgrades, plus its easy to build, run and maintain.

If you decide you want a nitro your best bet would be getting a stadium truck just incase you miss the road

Just remember nitro`s take quite a bit of setting up and fiddling to get them running right so be prepared to lose your temper alot

Re: Selling my micro r/c, after a 1/10 nitro or poss decent electric.

Go for something like a hpi nitro mt2 ( 1/10 stadium truck)

I've got one, and it is great on road as well as offroad. Also you can easily upgrade parts for stronger ones.
Pretty strong from standard too, i've had mine 3 years, all i've replaced in broken parts is:
front suspension arm, hit a large root n spun into a concrete wall
    steering knuckle, worn out thread.
Rear suspension arm, thread issue again
Rebuilt rear diff, blew it. now more like a locked diff

Nitro is just time consuming to set up, they normally have to be retuned every time you run them, as in the summer they generally need to run richer but in the winter you can run them much leaner, all depends on temperature conditions on the day, fuel density n that.
But once their ready you can run it all day as long as the batteries are charged and you have lots of fuel and a good glowstart, where as with electric you can only run them till the batteries run out so you are more limited, unless you have a fast charger and a 12v battery or mains power to hand when your out.

If you need any help in setting up nitro then just ask

    Hope this helps

PS. Great for jumping at skateparks, dirt jumps down woods n that too.
