    mk2 escort suspension choices

Hiya guys ive just got my self a 4 door mk2 (1600 gl SA) and im wondering what people would recommend in terms of suspension choices, im aiming for a fast road set up, maybe a track day or two. id love a set of coilovers upfront and a 2" drop and a pair of tidy shockers on the rear, this is my first mk2 escort and am finding myself in a little bit of a minefield of set ups in regards of what hubs can i use with coilovers, what brakes then fit what top mounts to use, so any advice is really appreciated, cheers guys.

    pic for attention haha

Gaz shocks are good, try and grab a set of RS type struts with removable steering arms, convert them to coilover using a kitfor 2 1/4'' springs, fit Gaz inserts and Gaz shocks on the rear, with some poly bushes, or if you want to spend more go for Bilstein coilovers.
