    Fuel rail with 10mm spacer?

As title says just wondering how those of you in the know have mounted/ modified your fuel rail when using a 10mm inlet spacer on a YB? Any pics would be handy. KooThanks in advance

Hi Kizza, the fuel rail simply bolts onto the other side of the two mounting posts as the posts are 10mm wide.

as above the fuel rail bolts on the inlet manifold part. the spacer goes between the plenum and manifold. I will try and attach a pic of a spare i have.

sorry they are my pinto/cossy one bare with me.

the last above pic shows standard, when you add the spacer it will sit on the spacer rather than the plenum now ?? maybe it needs a slot filing in the give space for the bracket.

try and see i have never done but that is what i would imagine. Ignore the first 2 pics as they are of a modified cossy inlet for a pinto so the fuel on that sits on the other side so wouldn't be affected by a spacer

Re: Fuel rail with 10mm spacer?

I have just looked at the spacers on ebay. If the mounting post is 10mm thick it will be as duffer says, it will just sit on the other side of the mounting post. the spacer shouldn't encroach on the post.

Re: Fuel rail with 10mm spacer?

Just a follow up for those interested. I tried putting the fuel rail on the back of the mounts but it didnt sit right and the injectors were at an angle. So I ground down the back of the mounts on the plenum about 3mm and it fits a treat. Thanks again

Yeah 14mm would have been way easier. I bought the 10mm one years ago and finally decided to pull my finger out and get this conversion done!
