Van rear door rubbers

Can anyone help?
Where is the best place to source a set of rear door rubbers for a MK2 escort van. I think that even MK1 or Anglia van ones are the same.Already tried Aldridge Trimming and East Kent trim but they dont know which type they are.

if you had posted this last week i would of removed the ones from my anglia van before i sold it.

The Anglia Owners Club have done quite a bit of work on this front but the problem is the corner pieces, the rest can be made up from bits off the roll, but the original corners look like someones just squeeze some old rubber roughly into shape.

Thanks for that Dave i have looked at all the different ones but due to not haveing the original ones still not sure which is the correct one.Ithink that 4parajon is on holiday.Has any one else on here got access to a van to take a piccie of the rubbers on the doors which i could then be able to work out the correct bead of rubber.The other question i have is where exaclty do the VIN plates fix as these were already removed when i originally bought the shell and i am not sure if they are in the same place on the van as on a car

hunted high & low for them myself over the last few years...probably one of the rarest parts of a van to get hold off...but a complete rear door set would be nice to find...let me know if ya find any...ive considered doing repo ones but i dont think it would be feesable as i dont think there are that many van lovers out there or enough vans for it

I've checked on my mk1 van ... If mine is original, the seal runs up the sides and over the top, attached to the van body. The passenger side has a seal on the lower edge only, while the drivers side has on the lower edge, and on the inside edge which meets the passenger door.
I'll try to get pics tomorrow, but I can't see a similar profile on the link Dave posted.

Thanks for looking Bob it would be great if you could post some pics and i could then take them to Aldridge as they have a lot of material that i could check against and hopefully get the right ones needed to finish my van off.

I spent 3 years on behalf of the AOC trying to sort this. There is nothing on the market that matches, as the profile around the door aperture changes plus you have the bits on the doors themselves which are different again.
You could probably get one of the companies to make something close but there is usually a minimum run length of 1000 metres. Thats a lot of rubber. As there are only 100 vans in the club, they cant realisitcally do it.
I have a complete set of brand new unused rubber to use as a pattern, when i enquired getting this moulded, again cost was an issue and you would have a large minimum run. So that unused rubber is now going on my current van, as I've given up.
So if anyone finds anything that will do let us know. The other thing these rubbers are quite important too as they stop the exhuast fumes being drawn back into the van, which i,ve had before on other vans, not nice.

Read all this with interest as I'm facing the same issue myself. Has it progressed any further than this or did the van rear door rubber issue not get anywhere?
