    Routing Dry Sump Pipes

    Hi
I am thinking about where to route the dry sump pipes.
I see some have them going through firewall between the turrets, and then along the diff tunnel.

I would like to route mine through the rear wheel tub fire wall, over the wheel tub, down the rear qtr, then along the inner sill.

My worry is the height of the hose going over the tub. Not sure if it will effect the flow as both inlet and outlet are at the same height.
Not sure if its best to keep them low or not..

    Opinions would be appreciated.

    Cheers

i dont think it would effect the scavenge, but it would be a bad idea with regards the feed pipe to the pump, that would be asking to trap air in the last place you want air

    Hi,

My pipes go the route you suggest - over the tub in the rear quarter and along the inner sill to the front bulkhead
It's a pain to get oil through initially, but once the pipes are full you won't get any air in there

    Thanks
