now you tell me! ive already bought a set of mk2 single leafs.
never mind just a bit of grinding to do then.
got a set of mk1 poly bushes to go in um.
i had a bit of play in the pinion shaft on my new diff so took it apart to investigate. looks like it was the spacer washer that goes under the oil seal had came out of place when i changed over the prop bolting flange, and even though it was done back up tight it would still have play in it, sorted now though. while it was apart i gave the whole diff casing a bloody good clean out and removed a fair bit of crud, so glad now i took it apart.
now i need to set the preload on the bearings again and set up the back lash and contact patch.
im gonna borrow a dial gauge and some engineers blue from my dad to do this tomorrow.
anybody got any tips on sorting all that?
