    CWP's

I have been offered a crown wheel and pinion that is supposed to be a 4:4, how do i knwo if this is true?

I know i need to count the amount of teeth on the crown wheel and divide it by the amount of teeth on the pinion, is that correct? And what should the amount of teeth be?

    35 / 9 (3.89) and 37 / 9 (4.11) are German axle ratios.
