    Intake gasket question

I have two gaskets one with a hole for water to flow in to the stock manifold and one with out I run a 70c thermostat
will blocking off the water to the stock intake manifold result in a hotter intake charge or cooler? The car is performance oriented mostly a fun track car. What would be best in this situation

If the water can't get to the manifold - QED - it will be colder..............assuming it doesn't also have the exhaust on same side!

I was just worried about heat soak from the motor causing the intake to get hotter than the water temp if the water was not circulating through the manifold

no heat soak wont do that, the water is there to heat not cool the manifold
