    Weber 40s dellorto 40s

    If twin webers were jetted to run on paticular engine would dellortos be jetted the same.i know needs dellorto jets but would same jetting be ok

    always get them set up properly on a decent rolling road otherwise its just guesswork

    As a starting point yes. An engine running on Webers with say 140 main jets will not need 180 main jets with Dell'Ortos.
    But there are variables, even within Webers: venturi-size, aux. venturi-size, emulsion tubes.

    dellorto are a newer design which improved on some aspects of webers and jets go up in smaller steps, but the difference isnt much
