    Pinto - Weber manifold

    Hi all,

i am looking for a good condition pinto inlet manifold for twin 40 Webers, have seen some manifolds which cater for 40/45's so that would be a good option.

    thanks

I have just bought a sandwich plate type which apparently means you can retain the battery, he didn't know the make of it though and I haven't received it to look at it myself.

    Thanks

is that the short billet type that a lot of kit cars seem to use ? i have seen them on "normal" manifolds, i think the HiFlo ones but not seen one come up for sale recently.

It's just a 20mm(ish) thick plate that connects the carbs to the head, you can also still retain the brake servo (he says) I would send you a pic but photo bucket is poo. I asked on a mk1 and 2 parts Facebook page for one and ended up buying this manifold and a normal one which was only used for a rolling road, it was my mistake as I never knew the sandwich plate one exsisted and got offered it by someone. I misssd out on a normal one on eBay which sold for nearly £90, bought both of these for £110 inc delivery lol.

Maybe worth asking on an escort page on Facebook? Tbf I have asked on here atleast 3 times for one and Facebook twice before anyone offered anything.

    Thanks
    Kris

i have doubts that the thin one will fit tbh, the carbs need to go back and up.

Oh no, someone replied on the Facebook advert and said you can fit them with the battery there so I have bought it for that reason.... :-(

If you find a inlet that will work, can you pm me so i can see what it is meant to look like lol

    Thanks
