    Hi,

Do you have the one (arb from whiteline) for the rear too?
If yes Could you put fotos of it, I'm curious.

I follow your thread with attention, I will built a Cosworth V6 1973 Taunus. so lot of interesting thing in your project.

    Re: Cortina MK3 2.8TT

I have it yes, but it doesn't fit with those rear upper arms. And it looks fairly to say, peace of crap! Front swaybar is spot on, but rear one isn't. Atleast, that's my opinion. Couldn't find a pic of it.

But it basically bolt's to the rear axle with u-bolts and under the original rear upper arms connecting bolts in the chassis. I would recommend to you original cortina rear swaybar, if you have original rear axle. That didn't fit with this volvo axle. So no swaybar at the rear.

    Re: Cortina MK3 2.8TT

    Hi

I was wondering if you can help me with something. .

I am trying to source the 4 headlight GXL grille for the cortina. Problem is that they are rare. Solution is that I found one but it is in the UK! What I need is approximate dimensions of the grille + weight if you can guess it for the grille + the sealed beam units.

I got quoted for 168 pounds in shipping only!! But I do think that it is a bit of a steal and not worth shipping over 250 pounds for the grille and 168 for shipping?? :/

    Delivery is to Malta

Any idea were else I can find the grille?

Thank you! also Gratz on the project! Im building something more traditional to be used as an almost daily driver for now xD Take care!

    Re: Cortina MK3 2.8TT

Interior almost done, just little tweeks here and there still needed. But starts to look like car again!

Boot updated (new catch tank, new fuel lines, better secondary pump)

Oil catch tank finded place inside passenger side front wing

Engine bay now (bigger radiator, davies craig electric water pump, new fuel lines, 1260cc injectors, new fuel pressure regulator etc.)

Dyno went pretty good, after changing spark plugs it stopped missfiring. Also bosch 044 pump is at the limit with this power and e85 fuel.

Nothing yet, but haven't driven much yet. But I don't think, the block is the bigger problem, may crack. Will see. But not so much boost yet, think it will hold up nicely (that 0,95bar)

    Sultzi.

Where did you get the hubcaps from that fit the saab rims? What are they from and what did you have to do to fit them? I'm after something similar for my saab rims.

    Thanks, Shaun

Thank you! Been driving around ~2000km maybe with this. A bit hungry for alcohol, 20l/100km in normal day use

Those hub caps where bought somewhere of ebay. They were hold by 5 magnets, but they weren't strong enough. Now driving without caps. I have saab own hub caps, but need to find out some way to cover that "saab" text in them

Oh, the cosworth t5 did give up, no 5th gear anymore! Been driving with 4 gears most of the time. Something strange happened, 5th on and accelerating suddenly it went like to neutral. Without any noises and the gear stick didn't bounc of the 5th. Did change oil, nothing gear peaces come out, just oil! So something strange must happened with gear selector inside box? Will find out during winter what it was..

From what I hear 5th is the weakest gear on the T5's, advice is to only use it as a cruising gear. It's not made for big turbo power :-)

I heard the same, one 2.9l twin turbo sierra here finland also broke 5th from t5. But how can it be broken, when nothing metal pieces came out during oil change? That's why I believe something wrong with selector. Well, will find out before winter what it is..

Maybe somekind of video soon, possible
