    Another S2000 Mk2

Here is my little S2000/Escort project.. The plan is to have it up and running by the beginning of May!
The parts i am using are: Bespoke wiring harness, EFI ECU, drysump and modified XE-chassismounted enginemounts and a HKS racing manifold.

The engine is a 2001 AP1 F20C engine from Japan and comes from JDM Racing Motors in Canada. ( www.jdmracingmotors.com )
The wiring harness, ECU and drysump system comes from adr-engineering.( www.adr-engineering.co.uk )

A 'bonus' with LHD is that i wont have problems with the exhaust manifold hitting the steering column because my column is on the inlet-side of the engine. Its not that big of a deal, but i can use manifolds that are ment for the S2000. So i dont have to get a custom one.

Nice, how do you plan on getting it by Biltilsynet (local equivalent to the SVA in the UK, but stricter)?

Petter Killingberg who is the head technical consultant at Biltilsynet in Trondheim had a Cosworth Powered MKI Escort which had two maps, one standard 204BHP map for the street and a 650BHP map for track. It's rumored that the switch had to be in the engine compartment to be approved.

Anyway, good luck and I'm looking forward to following your progress

When I first started the build the plan was to run with a std. OHC, but as always one thing leads to another so at this point the car will be a track car only. I will be driving it on 'test plates' every once in a while though on May 17th (Norwegian constitution day) and such

The reason for the standstill at the moment is some problems with the ECU, so they wont ship the drysump which I need to get the engine mounted properly.
