    How to: water temperature sensor

My thermostate house has no temperature sensor. I have ony a cylinderhead sensor.
I need 2 temperature sensors. 1 for the ecu and 1 for the dashboard meter.
The standard Ford sensor is pushed in, has an O ring and a clip to keep it in place.
I have seen another thermostate house where the temperature sensor was pluged in form underneath.
Is there a way to get it in?

Is there a difference for the bottom and the top part position? see arrow on the picture.

Thanks in advance for your answer.

What ECU are you using, if you have not purchased one yet then we can drive the dash direct from a Link ECU, so you only need one sensor, and the CHT sensor is more than adequate to do both, it is just not so accurate below 40C and measures up to 280C, if you need to fit an ECU sensor it must be in the flow of water when the thermostat is closed.
