How to fit a temp.sensor in the thermostate housing of a blacktop Zetec 2.0L

My brand new thermostate house does not have holes for the water tempereature sensor. It looks like I need to push / force out a piece of plastic that is molded in the place where the sensor should be.

There are different types of sensores.

Which one is the correct one?

How do I fit it in the current thermostate housing?

thanks in advance for your answer.

It looks like you need the push in type with O ring and clip if there's no thread for the sensor in the top of the thermostat housing.

I think you must replace the thermostat housing.
