    NO WANTED THREADS FOR V5's

i understand there are probably some genuine requests reasons out there, but just to make it clear, as far as i am concerned when Yodi banned threads selling V5's he also banned V5 wanted threads. such threads will be removed, anyone posting such a thread risks being banned from the forum.

legalities aside, far too many cars have gone missing to allow such thread.

Re: NO WANTED THREADS FOR V5's

Just to note ,,Any one trying to use a dodgy V5 to give a car a new ID will have to prove to the DVLA why the car was not declared SORN and has been off the road so long ,The DVLA will also need to carry out an inspection of the car to confirm it is the car some one is trying to register

I do know of a recent case where some one had built a car to show standard and could nor show where he got the parts and shell from ,,He tried to register the car as an RS model with documents bought from E Bay and the result was huge fines for the seller and buyer of the V5 and the said car was siezed and destroyed

It is not an excuse to say this practice keeps old escorts on the road , all it does is allow stolen cars ,shells and parts to be given a new identity ,,,If you do build a car and want to register it then follow the legal path if you have nothing to hide.
