how good is the fr32 with twin 45 in a pinto engine

i was thinking to buy a piper 285, but a friends say me he had a fr32k, the kent cams will work well with twin webers 45, +1mm mahle pistons, 4-2-1 exhaust, and a head skimmed 1mm? the 285 will work better?
