Pf09/04 vs pfo9/05 throttle position sensor
I have a pf01 red tps that I'm using with megasquirt but this tps has an open circuit at closed throttle and the voltage drops as throttle is opened, I want to switch to the pf09 which operates the other way and without the open circuit, but there seems to be 2 varieties 04 and 05? It appears one is non linear the other may be linear? Any info on which is the linear?
Many thanks.

Usually you can just swap the wires on the TPS to get it to read the other way (from 5-0V idle to WOT, to 0-5V). After all it is just a variable resistor. So maybe you don't have to change it?

Anembo sell a lead that swaps them over

This particular tps goes open switched at idle too. I'm gonna try clocking the tps anti clockwise so as to avoid the switched area when throttle is closed then reverse the polarity to see if it works like a regular tps.
Ill report back.

It seems there are different pf09 tps that get used on motorbikes too and the first half of throttle movement ramp the volts up at a quicker ratio than the last half resulting in a non linear scale.. Suppose it makes sense for a hand controlled throttle
