Can i use standard 4wd cosworth YB rods and pistons for my Pinto turbo (8.2:1) setup??? Are there any differences in rods????

YB Rods are approx 60 thou longer than Pinto Rods. Pinto combustion chambers have a different cc volume to YB heads so compression needs to be carefully calculated.

If I remember correctly I calculated that with cossie rods and pistons in an otherwise standard 2.0 pinto you end up at about 7.5:1 compression ratio and that to get back to around 8.5:1 you need to find a way to reduce head/piston volume by a total of around 10cc
