    type9 box

    Got a type9 box on the back of my X/F .Did the conversion 15 year ago cant remember what clutch and plate i used i think it was 23 spline .Also what clutch cable to use and what car the clutch cable comes from .Any info or links of where to find them would be great

    You will also need a release bearing and carrier that fits the type 9 - i think the standard escort gearbox is a 7/8" layshaft and type 9 is 1" so by rights it shouldnt fit!

    Probably best to just buy the full kit at £49 for now!
