    1980 Terracotta RS2000 Mk2

Hi, just joined this forum and wanted to post a picture of my much missed RS2000 ADR 520W. I was the second owner of this car in about 1983/84 until around 1986/87( can't quite remember). Purchased from RS specialist Mike Youngs in Ilford ,Essex and later sold back to him. I still have loads of pictures and many good memories. I did see the car a few years back at Brands Hatch and have found a picture of her recently on the web, so I know its still around (and still looking fantastic). Anyone on this forum know who owns her now?

Yes you are correct about he car originally coming from Vospers of Plymouth but was brought by a guy who I think was in the navy or something to do with ships. I did make contact with him through the RS owners club, and somewhere I have some very early club magazines in which it featured. He was a very early member ( I think from memory he was number 35 possibly). He then moved to Scotland and used it there for about a year then sold the car to Mike Youngs when it was 3 years old. I then brought it when I was 19 and it was my pride and joy . Sold it after about 4 years for a MK2 Fiesta XR2 and really missed it.
    Any info grafefully received

Graham...Did you used to sprint an orange BMW 2002.. I seem to remember you from some cold days at North Weald and possibly earlier, maybe a certain tuning shop in Leytonstone?

Maybe, although i don't remember a terracotta mk2. I remember a white Mk3 Escort RS1600i, and i was in an Olympic blue mk2 escort with a 1600 x flow, screaming the nuts off it
All the way from high beech to the water works roundabout.
