    My 1700 x-flow

My little x-flow has just been setup on the rollers at atspeed in rayleigh 87.95 bhp and 88.82 lb ft torque at 5250 rpm im assuming this is at the wheels??

its a 1700 standard bottom end with a kent A2 cam ported polished and skimmed head not sure about the valves it has a high flow oil pump etc and is running on 40 DCOE's
with a 4 branch and a single box ashley i think and a pretty tight tranX diff

Ive now had the vac advance removed from the dizzy and the mechanical advance altered so it advances quicker as it was too slow advancing so should have a little more now

    Hi,
I would have thought you would have got a bit more on
on twin carbs.I had my RGD 1700 x-flow give 90 Bhp at the wheels on a DFM. twin choke . Unless they were trying to flatter me <grn>
