jetting for single 45 dcoe on lynx / pinto 2.0
i know this is a can of worms but just looking for a ball park starting point - maybe someone already been there got a tee shirt.
single 45 dcoe (152G?) spanish 4 progression hole. lynx type manifold, 2.0 pinto std to 140 bhp range.
it has 36mm chokes which i would like to leave in, 4.5 aux also.

Mine was standard engine, was working fine with 160 main 155 air F16 50F8 but was 5 prog holes. This way it gave average max power. I'm not saying this would have been the most perfect setup but was OK for me to compare max power against 40 DCOE and DMTL setup.
So should be a good starting point.

160 main jet, 180 air, F2 or F3 tubes, 55F6 idle.
And check floatlevel as these can be a bit off out of the box.

I would advice, check float level and all the rest of the carburetor because nothing is correct with these new Webers out of the box !!!!!!!

its not a brand new carb, its one of a pair that have been used - other damaged.
and since you both mention it - what is the correct float setting for these ? up and down. thanks .

Yes, with lip just touching the ball inside the needle valve. With gasket in place.
As Dirk wrote if it's a new carb check it over, I always clean them ultrasonic as well before fitting.
