    Flush tarmac arches

Hi guys I'm after ideas on how to fit MK2 Escort tarmac arches so they sit flush to the panel rather than sitting proud?

I was trying to avoid copious amounts of filler.
You don't see a raised area around the arch?

There isn’t much filler, all my fixings where flush and I shamfered the top edge back and then only a think coat of filler, the lip on my arches was only very thin.

Those arches look great smoothed in like that Warrior. Just out of curiosity, with a plug weld every inch or so, did you ever get any hair line cracks in the filler?
